Hello! Hi! Howzit!
With a formal background in Architecture and 3D Graphics, I have spent many years translating architectural plans into images and realtime models that people can relate to. Over time my passion for creating visual experiences has evolved into web design and branding, with a growing fascination for colour and typography.
I grew up in a Danish home in Cape Town, so have always been surrounded by gorgeous, simple Scandinavian design and the vibrant colours and textures of Africa. My personal style has thus become one of both practical functionality and the lively expression of life.
Through my experiences I have also developed business and management skills. Having had three employees and juggling many clients, I became a project manager and business planner, finding joy in creating systems and processes to streamline production. Although I have been freelancing again since mid-2008, I am still in a position of management, as I serve as a member and as a Chairperson on various committees.
When I'm not at my computer I continue creating with ceramics, beadwork and other craft materials. I regularly browse the internet for inspiration and to keep up with the trends in design and technology - there is always something new to learn every day.
I am currently available for freelance or contract work.
